In 12 Hofmeyr we have tried to capture in a guesthouse what you have said you desire and appreciate when you travel: comfort and intimacy, modern amenities, local design, a great neighbourhood in a central location and a curated experience. Our Victorian house has just undergone a major renovation and in doing so we have tried to conserve as many of the old existing Victorian features as possible, while throwing in a huge dose of funk, design and local flavour. The result is an unusual blend of old and new, of both form and function. We believe that 12 Hofmeyr offers you the opportunity to stay in Cape Town as a Capetonian and to have a unique local experience.
12 Hofmeyr is located in a quiet, leafy street making it hard to believe that you are in the centre of the city. The house offers a unique sense of privacy while situated steps away from the heart of the city. A two-minute walk takes you to Kloof Street, vibrant neighbourhood extraordinaire. It is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, galleries and design stores and is the perfect starting point from which to explore all the city has to offer. We would love to help you think about your trip to Cape Town and provide tailored recommendations and concierge services for all your needs.
With 4 en-suite rooms, we cater to groups both large and small. When not in your room you can:
